Membership FAQs
Chrome Kitten Cruisers - Chicago, Illinois
Are there club meetings?
The Kittens hold monthly meetings at various places around Chicago to
discuss club events, upcoming rides, share ideas and just hang out.
Meetings are usually the third Saturday of each month and details are
posted on the home and events pages on the Website as well as the chat
board well in advance. T
Do you support a charity?
Each year we select a charity from amongst our members to support. Last
year it was Holiday gifts for needy families.

How are you different from other women’s riding groups?
Our main purpose is to unite all women motorcycling enthusiasts. We believe
that women can be avid riders, enjoy a variety of bikes and emphasize the
importance of safe riding. We do not advocate any particular lifestyle or bike
make.

How many events do you do?
It varies. Attendance is not mandatory at any Kitten event, but as always, the
more Kittens, the merrier! The Kittens have ice cream rides, beginning-rider
rides, as well as evening rides. We even have a season opener overnighter
and our annual three day getaway at the end of each season!
We welcome spouses, sweethearts, other family members and their friends
to join us on nearly all our rides. Our club meetings are exclusive to our
members as is our overnighters.

We also hold an end-of-season BBQ as well as a holiday party. Whether an
event is planned or not, most of the Kittens are ready to cruise!

Are there any news articles that I can read about the Kittens?
The Kittens have been featured in several publications, including the Daily
Herald. Visit the
Press page to read articles and stories.

How do I join the Kittens?
You must attend at least one meeting and one club ride. This should help
you decide if you want to be a kitten. Once you've decided we're what you're
looking for we will unanimously accept you into the club. The only mandatory
criteria is you must be a woman, you must have a motorcycle in good
working order, you should have a class M license and suitable insurance.
Once you've joined you may wear the kitten back patch, attend club
meetings, and gain access to our chat board, but...

Best of all, new members can expect to find a great group of women, of all
backgrounds and riding levels, who are ready to ride and experience the
open roads of the Midwest together. You never need ride alone again!!!
